Gum Bully, or Bumelia, is a hardy tree, native to south-central US and Mexico. It is tolerant of heat, cold, and drought. Once established, it will not need much watering. Its fruit is edible though can cause stomach upsets. It is a great tree for wildlife and pollinators.
