Ficus carica ‘Celeste’
Celeste produces a medium sized fruit that is very sweet. The fruit has light brown to purple skin, with bright pink flesh. As far as figs go, Celeste is cold hardy, however planting it on the south side of something will give it extra protection from the cold northern fronts. Soil must be well drained, as figs do not like their roots sitting in water.
