Esperanza is native to Texas, Mexico and through South America. In a frost-free climate, it will grow to be 6-7 ft. tall. It can freeze back to the ground in a hard freeze, but providing temperatures do not get too low, it will come back in Spring. It has a beautiful and abundant yellow flow that can bloom all summer long, making it an excellent food for bees. It is also a nitrogen fixer, meaning it can help feed your fruit trees.
