Datura
Datura wrightii
Datura, or Jimsonweed, is a showy shrub with a fragrant flower that opens from evening to morning. It is native to many places, including southern US where it is perennial. It can grow up to six feet tall and will spread out (self seeds very easily). Extracts from this plant can be narcotic and potentially lethal, to humans and other animals. They attract pollinators, including moths and bees.
