Crape Myrtle is native to China and Korea. It tolerates the heat of our summers very well, and, once it is established, will need almost no care. It blooms almost all summer long, making it an excellent tree for bees and for ornamental purposes. It is also spectacular in the fall as it loses its leaves. Natchez has a white flowers, and is the favorite of bees.
